Winifred:You know when we talk about good governance it also involves accountability. So how are young people in Imo holding their leaders accountable.
Prince Chimezie:if the whole of Nigeria with the terrible thing that has been happening , the hikes, the fuel ,electricity and nobody is blinking an eye lid you think Imo state is exceptional. No they are not exceptional.
Let me also make this clear, when you are asking how do we make youths have interest and all these things I also want to point out an angle that I noticed . People are already there, the ruling class, they intentionally give the youths distraction. When I am trying to tell the youths let do this thing one program will just rally up from nowhere and everyone will just Disappear. Distractions begin. For example this Big Brother Naija some people will focus on it for complete 24hours. And you are saying bros lets go and participate in Politics. They are lots of distraction on the social media platform.
I noticed that the guys at the top the politicians had a way of convincing 5,10 youths and make the their E-media specialists. So you see your fellow youth coming to tell you or making you see reasons why you should vote for this man even arguing and try to fight you for their sake. So they are using young people against young people I don’t know how they are doing that .
Winifred: What is Social Media engagement like in Imo state like for example if there is a bad road do you see Imo state youths taking pictures of that going on social media calling on government .
Prince Chimezie: I wish this platform was live. I will open my facebook wall where during the past administrations I travelled round Imo snapping where depts. Are been heaped bad roads and post them. If you want t get people’s perspective about what is happening just enter a public transport and bring up a topic and watch people point out their views .I will be in a bus someone will just bring up a topic and then I will hear people talk, I will just make up a post a post it social media.
If fews persons that are trying to make things happen on social media are been harassed either online or physically . What do think will happen?. It is not encouraging.
Lyrics: There are so many persons who started with doing the right thing then at the long run they bribe them with political positions.
Winifred: though this question might be personal. During the time you went round taking pictures of this bad roads Etc. Were you doing it because you were looking forward to getting an appointment from government or you were doing it because it is your right and because this people are supposed to do the right thing in essence were you trying to hold them accountable?
Prince Chimezie: I am not doing because of the envelop part of it or for any appointment, my appointment is with my family I don’t want any other sort of appointment but am doing it because I want this right and also my children will see my blueprints when am done with my course on earth.
Lyrics: Have there been anytime maybe after making those posts and government take actions positively and do you go back to post these positive response?.
Prince Chimezie : Yes Where I made a post of the quality of work being done . When I saw that work being done I had to down from the vehicle I was in and I met the contractor and I begged him to please do a very good job.
Lyrics: Do you go back to post make posts about this positive response?
Prince Chimezie:Yes I have done that. But just for one road and that’s for the one that was actually touched.
Winifred: What do you think is the reason for most youths not being able do same thing you have done?
Prince Chimezie: I will say it is due to LACK OF PASSION.
Comments
First caller: Advice!!. We need to take our future as youths into our hands we shouldn’t continue sitting and waiting for magic.
Second Caller: The youth should wake up and a tender conscience.Forget this Agu di agu di(there is hunger).

*BEWARE OF OFFENCES*

*BIBLE READING: 1 CORINTHIANS 15*

*And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. Matt 24:10-13 (NKJV).*

A very critical sign of the end time which has become prevalent without people noticing it is offences. As the rapture draws close, one of the major things we will continue to experience is that people will be easily offended against God and fellow man. A cursory look at this sign will reveal its prevalence now even within the church and families. The ability of men to bear with the infirmities of one another is being greatly impaired. This is in line with the words of Christ that the love of many shall wax cold.

It is your love life that enables you to overlook or accommodate the weaknesses of others, make excuses for them and even seek their interest even when you are not happy with them. The rise of offences today is nothing but an indication that the love life of many is truly waning progressively.

Family; both spiritual and biological are at the receiving end of this scourge. At the slightest provocation, news whether verified or not, people are ready to turn their backs on families they have belonged to. The activities of false prophets have not helped this in anyway but rather aggravated the situation with a lot of prophecies like your uncle, your mother, your father etc., is responsible for your predicament. While this can be very true in certain cases, its preponderance makes it difficult to believe. Homes, marriages and families have been wrecked by prophets of doom masquerading as God’s servants.

Guard your heart from offence, against your biological family, brethren, pastor, local chapter and the body of Christ. Today some people have taken this a step further by being offended with God and Christ. The dangerous thing about offence is that once it takes root in your heart, the bile of bitterness fills your heart and colors your perception about everything and everyone. Hebrews 12:14-15(NKJV) says: *"Follow peace with all people, and holiness without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defilled."*

A key to ridding your heart of offences is walking in love (Rom. 5:5). The love of God in your heart enables you to bear with the faults of others. In addition to this, do not give yourself to gossiping, backbiting and rumours. Learn to verify whatever you hear spoken against you and forgive those who offend you. Apostle Paul actually said the greatest of the three virtues is love (1 Cor 13:13). Seek to be filled with God's love daily so that you can radiate and express it always.

*PRAYER
Thank You Father for the gift of the Holy Spirit by whom the Love of God has been shed abroad in our hearts. As I fellowship with You, let my love tank be refilled daily. I receive the grace to walk away from every offence and to forgive those that have offended me in Jesus Name. Amen
