CALLERS REVIEW

Caller 1: Chidi calling from Awka. At some point I’ve been worried, why youths
are not adding value and not be valued. I’ve come to discover the reason. People see people making money out of nowhere especially when they are
involved in politics. How do you expect us to continue in this non-ending dark
tunnel hoping for the light that never comes.

Caller 2: Pastor Michael calling from Enugu. Permit me to use these words. The youths in Abia State have been turned to a goose that don’t lay eggs. They’ve been totally over clouded with the little gifts coming from the
politicians.

Lyrics: Let me quickly allow you Promise to react to the caller views

Promise: All they have said is actually true, They are educated but to some
extent. I talked about foundations, but enough of the problems. Let me talk of
the solutions. Parents needs to start telling their children the truth. It starts
from the home. Every youth must have been a child. If we can sensitize our
parents, to start telling there children the truth, and the teacher to start telling
their students or pupil the truth, it will help to solve a lot of problems in Abia
State.

Caller 3: IK from Enugu. At what level has the government played in redeeming
them? If we say the problem is fundamental, what is it that’s on ground that
they are doing?

Rev. P.C: The people are the government. It is left for the youths not to make
themselves to be used. If the government is not formulating policies that
favours you, what do you do? You look away from them and stop being
spanners and chisels in the hands of politicians. I took my own destiny in my
hands, I built myself, I developed myself, Fresh Inspiration Africa prepares the
young ones for the future that’s one of our project.

Caller 4: Steven calling from Kogi State. The program needs to be extended to
the entire youths in the country, what’s happening in Abia State is no different
from what is happening in Kogi State or any other part of the country. If the
youth detach themselves from the politicians, it’s better for all of us.

Lyrics: He got some point and said the policies that the politician are making, are favouring the politicians alone.

Rev P.C: Yes, the policies that the politician are making, are favouring the
politicians alone.

Lyrics: How do we change it?

Rev P.C: We need to come out, we need to speak out, we the youths we the
people need to speak out. We need to find the place of like minds,
organizations just South-Saharan Social Development Organization (SSDO), I
encourage what you are doing. There are a lot of organizations in silent, but I
don’t blame them, because of intimidation.

Promise: Just like Vision Alive Foundation was created to teach youths. There
are policies that will always fight against us even in businesses. If we can come
with an initiatives to fight for that.

Winnie: Even through social media, because I feel like a lot of our leaders get
more attacked on social media when it’s said there, because the whole world
sees it, but we’re still scared so it doesn’t come hunting us. Saying good things
matter and saying it in a good way, in a way that it’s not a hate speech, but it’s
still the truth. So I think coming up with Initiative and then Youth-led
organization.

Rev P.C: The condition of doing business to an extent is conducive in Abia State, but I think, if it is possible we need to shut the betting houses, because the
betting houses have destroyed the life of an average Abian youth. Policies
needs to be made to shut these down. You see children 10yrs, 11yrs, 12yrs, etc… in bet houses. This is eating into the fabrics of our families, we need to do
something, Abia State is in a sorry state. The earlier the politician begin to
think about the young persons, the better for us.

Lyrics: Looking from the stakeholders, are there people worthy of that
support and if we find that good person, is his chance going to be best thing
we will put in our money?

Rev. P.C: I own an oil mill in Abia State and I’m in partnership with the
governor, but he doesn’t know me, but through an Uncle of mine who is
friends with the governor I presented my ideas to him, though a family
business. I also got my funding from a politician. Now the question is, can ideas
be financed?, the answer is yes but the how sincere are you. People have been
given chances and they blew it.

Winnie: Okay sir, you’re saying young people are not cutting their coats
according their size?

Rev. P.C: You must cut your cut according to your size. If you don’t, you won’t
get to where you are supposed to be.

Winnie: Looking from the education aspect, youths in Abia State, are they
getting themselves braced with Education that one, and then are young
people holding their leaders accountable enough?

Rev. P.C: When you talk about education, the average Abian youth is a very
intelligent mind. There’s a difference between education and knowledge. Education is important, when you talk about is an Abian youth educated? Yes
they are, they go to school, after all Abia State has been taking the first
position for the past four years in WAEC. The state is doing well when it comes
to that aspect, but far beyond that, I am talking about Individual Capacity
Development, that is what is lacking. How did you develop yourself, a lot of
people are dependant on their parent for everything.

Lyrics: Do you say they have a divided attention?

Rev P.C: Now, an Abian Youth need not to do what they are currently doing
now, they need not to wait for the government to provide. The problem isn’t
that the Abian youth is not educated or informed, but overtime they have
gotten lazy and the state is political dependant right now. I don’t want to talk
about the roads in Abia State, the roads in Abia State is in a sorry state. We
need the youths to rise up, but unfortunately they are not rising up, but they
prefer to be political thugs.

Lyrics: Why do you think they prefer that?

Rev P.C: It’s a mindset, it’s an individual mindset.

Promise: These youths… I know we are educated, but they don’t really ask to
know more, because maybe the system is not transparent enough, I think
because if you’re not clear about something, the next option is to let it be. So,
if there will be more transparency on the part of the government or other
agencies to help the youths, to give them what they want, because I think we
want transparency, I’m now talking as a youth.

Rev P.C: They prefer to be paid 10,000 by the politicians, and if you talk bad
about them, they’ll almost burn down your house.

Lyrics: So, what is the way forward?

Rev P.C: The way forward is this, the individual Abian youth needs to trace
back. Why is it that things are not working for you? You need to invest in
yourself and it is not just about money. Investing in yourself means to build
yourself capacity wise, so that you add value to yourself and people can look
for that value in your life.

Lyrics: As a Girl Child Advocate, What would you say, is the next level of
politics in Nigeria for the women?

Promise: Personally, growing up I didn’t have that privilege knowing that
women can be in politics, but as time goes by I realize that there’s so much we
can do as women in the society. So, due to circumstances surrounding Abia
State as a case study, there’s no really much hope for women in the politics in
Abia State.

Lyrics: Why do you say so?

Promise: Why I said so is due to foundational problem, because right from
home my father told me “Politics is a dirty game”. So, I considered it very dirty, so as I girl I never dreamed of seeing a woman in power, but there’s so much
more we can do, so I believe that with the right re-orientation about the
gender aspect, women in governance it will sensitize us that we can become
much better in politics and the hope will be restored.

Lyrics: As a Content Producer, Do you agree with what she said?

Rev. P.C: Yes, I agree with her. It’s a foundational problem like she said
because we had different orientation growing up. I think we should go back to
the classroom. Like my organization, we are trying to change the mindset of
the Nigerian Youth. We should all know that all hand must be on deck. A
question popped up, someone asked “If you totally the girl child and you
ignore the male child. We will ended up having vagabonds coming after the
well trained girl child”. So, there won’t be proper check and balancing. We
should entirely advocate for the youths, so that every will be equal.

Winnie: Focusing on Abia State, Do we have more youths involve in politics
and good governance

Rev. P.C: As a matter of fact, giving a straight answer, the answer to you
question is capital NO. We just one commissioner who’s a youth. The
commissioner for SME (Nwachukwu). Abia State government as not really
done well integrating the youths. I think the youth in Abia State have been
used more of political thuggery system than political governance and policy
making, but we can get better it’s a foundational problem. It didn’t start from
the present governor, so he’s not to blame. I’m not blaming the his
administration, because it started from the foundation.

Lyrics: When you say foundational, how do you mean?

Rev. P.C: What I mean is, it started from whoever was the first governor. To
greater extent, the youths of Abia State are to be blamed, as much as the
government has excluded you, what have you done yourself to empower
yourself. I trained myself in many aspects for years.

Winnie: Are you saying, some youths in Abia State are not training
themselves?

Rev. P.C: Yes, I say that, a lot of them. You see a lot of youths, I the morning
drinking, sitting in bet houses. So, I think largely it has to do with individuals. You have to build yourself.

Winnie: Promise, Do you think that poverty could be one of the reasons, young people are not ready to take part in politics?

Promise: Okay, what you said about the economic part is true, but there’s this
power of choice that we have. The nomination form is very expensive, and you
might not have the millions to acquire one, I mean there are still stakeholders
who are good that you can start from the grass-root and partner with, there
are still some principle, you need to take note of. You can actually start from
somewhere.

Wife Of Lascatter Accuses Him Of Defiling Their 5-Month-Old Baby. He Reacts

Wife of popular nightlife king, Lascatter, accuses him of sexually molesting their 5-month-old baby just months after their society wedding
"He put his manhood in our 5 month old baby’s mouth"- Wife of popular nightlife king, Lascatter, accuses him of sexually molesting their 5-month-old baby just months after their society wedding

Diana Faith, the 24-year-old wife of popular nightlife king, Temidayo Lucky Kafaru, aka Lascatter, has accused him of sexually molesting their 5-month-old daughter. The couple's wedding on August 31, 2019, was the talk of town and attracted numerous celebrities
Only one year after, Diana Faith has called on the Lagos State Government, Inspector General of Police (IGP), and other relevant authorities to investigate her husband for a number of offences, including sexual molestation of their infant.

According to Guardian, Faith alleged that her estranged husband, raped their maid who is a minor and also molested their baby by putting his manhood in the baby’s mouth.

She added: "Since then, there have been constant threats to my life and that of my mother. I am calling on the Inspector General of Police to intervene in my case and not allow my life and that of my family to be wasted. He has refused to make himself available for investigation on allegations against him."

Reports indicate that the legal counsel to the wife, Bamidele Ogundele, reported the case to the Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team (DSVRT) at Alausa, Ikeja and Temidayo was invited, but he didn’t honour the invitation.

According to DSVRT Coordinator, Tolulope Rodes-Vivour Adeniyi, he promised to come on the appointed date, July 27, 2020, but didn’t show up.

Mrs Tolulope Rodes-Vivour Adeniyi, said: “He initially promised to come on the appointed date, July 27, 2020. He didn’t come. When a call was put through to him, he responded that he wanted his lawyer to be there with him, but he did not show up.”

The publication adds that when a call was put through to the estranged husband for his reaction on the allegations of assault and battery, Kafaru refused to pick his calls. A message was sent to him via Whatsapp on the same contact, he responded that the case was pending before the Inspector General of Police’s table, adding that he would get justice on the matter.
