PROSPERITY MYTHS (2)- YOUR PROSPERITY IS LIMITED

BIBLE READING: 1 CHRONICLES 4:9-10

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10

God blessed man and gave him dominion to tend, fill and be in charge of the earth. Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it. (Gen 1:28). Jesus came that we may have life and have life abundantly. Jesus speaking to his disciples at the sermon on the mount talked about living in his kingdom as against living in another kingdom. Whereas living in the Kingdom of God comprises breakthrough, financial prosperity, happiness, joy, peace, harmony and everything good; living in the kingdom of this world comprises decadence evident in our society. The kingdom of this world is intentionally engaged in the battle for your soul.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, God knows the plans He has for us.... a plan that will give us an expected end. Today’s key scripture speaks of abundant life distinct from the abundance in the Kingdom of this world. Be the limitless person who understands spiritual investment. Give with all of your heart, give praise to God knowing that He has plenty in store for you (Malachi 3:1. Let the word of God renew your mind as you invest wisely. The Bible declares that wealth is stored up for God's children, but how can we receive it if we do not believe, give, act, call forth and possess our possessions? The Lord says, "Beware, guard against every form of greed; for life is not measured by how much you own." (Luke 12:15 NLT). True possessions are found in Christ; being limitless.

There is something bigger and better than the food, clothing and possessions you own, it is an eternal life in Jesus Christ. There is a life much more than living in vanity. Therefore, be generous because you have access to resources in heaven; give to the poor, give for the advancement of the Kingdom.Your treasures in heaven are safe from decay and thieves can steal.(Luke 12:33). You are a limitless being in Christ.

ACTION POINT:
Take time to reflect on who you are and what you have. Continue to seek God, He will add everything else to you.

PROSPERITY MYTHS (1)- YOU CAN’T PROPSER WITHOUT CUTTING CORNERS

Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts leads to poverty. Proverbs 21:5 (NLT)

When God’s law are followed, the people prosper, when violated, the people perish. If you want prosperity as a Christian, you must be ready and willing to live right, step out of your comfort zone and embrace the demands of prosperity.

Simon Peter and his brother followed one of the laws of prosperity (obedience) and they prospered without cutting corners. As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people. “At once they left their nets and followed him. (Matt. 4:18-20; NIV).

There is a random saying that goes by For you to prosper you need to cut corners.’’ And a lot of Christians have bought into that idea of thinking that for them to prosper they need to cut corners (cut corners meaning: undertake something in what appears to be the easiest, quickest, or cheapest way, often by omitting to do something important or ignoring the rules.)

Prosperity has laws just as gravity has a law. It also has a process. One of the most important laws of prosperity is obedience and sacrifice. To whom much is given, much is expected. You must be willing and ready to pay the price to attain that height of financial prosperity that you seek. For Jesus to bring to fulfilment the vision of God for His people (The World), He didn’t follow the shortcut (cutting corners), he ‘’Obeyed’’ and ‘’Paid The Price’’ (Obedience and Sacrifice) through his death on the cross of calvary. We despised Him and rejected Him; He endured suffering and pain. No one would even look at Him—we ignored Him as if He were nothing. “But he endured the suffering that should have been ours, the pain that we should have borne.

All the while we thought that His suffering was punishment sent by God.
But because of our sins He was wounded, beaten because of the evil we did. We are healed by the punishment He suffered, made whole by the blows He received.(Isaiah 53:3-5) As a result of that obedience and sacrifice, He was crowned with glory and honor. “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.” ‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭NKJV)

Principles are levelers. That means irrespective of who you are, if you follow principles, then you will get the results that go with that principle, but if you break principles and cut corners, then the principle will break you. Until you understand and follow the rules and principles of prosperity, you will continue to wallow in poverty and end up in misery. Find the key (the rules and laws of prosperity) and apply them, then you will get the prosperity and freedom you seek.

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, we thank you for who you are and your unfailing promises for us. We ask that you open our eyes of understanding to do your will and live above the world through your Word. Fill us again and help us attain success through Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

IF YOU HAD MET GOD BEFORE CREATION (THE PRESENT VS. THE FUTURE)

BIBLE READING: ROMANS 4:16-25

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Genesis 1:1-2(KJV).

If you had met God just before creation, or at the point when the earth was without form and void, you might have thought that He was a failure. But the truth is, even though creation was yet to come to pass, yet on the inside of God, everything was already in existence. Before the manifest earth came into being, it already existed in potential form on the inside of God. It was not a reality but in God’s mind, it was a dream awaiting fulfillment. This is the first step in the creation of anything worthwhile.

A dream is the seed that is sown today, that will produce for you, a successful future. Do you hope for a bright tomorrow, then let the eyes of your heart begin to see that future. Let God fill your heart with a vision. Never complain about the numerous challenges in your environment because they are opportunities to bring great harvest. Rather endeavor to ponder critically and birth God-given solutions that will provide transformational wealth because of your impact.

Another financial principle you must harness today is your mental prowess or visionary endowment. We are made in the image of God and have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places which we must convert to solutions and value on earth. Those ideas that often come to your mind or solutions you think are beyond you, it is time to harness them. You can partner strategically with people that have the skills that are required to turn that idea to a mega business. Take that step now to turn that seed to a harvest.

PRAYER:
Heavenly father, before the earth was made, you visualized it in your heart. Please give me a vision of a preferred future, a vision of the purpose you have set for my life and help me run with it; in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

If you want your kids to succeed in life, don't just do things for them. Instead, teach them to do things for themselves. If you do things for them, they will succeed as long as you are alive. Teaching them to do things by themselves gives them lifelong success .

If you are looking for a relationship, the best way to find the right person is not by looking for the right person. Instead, make yourself the right person. Improve yourself. Attack your flaws. Up your game. When you do this, the right person will look for you.
