I will persist until I succeed.

Henceforth, I will consider each day's effort as but one blow of my blade against a mighty Oak. The first blow may cause not a tremor in the wood, nor the second, nor the third.

Each blow, of itself, may be trifling and seem of no consequence. Yet from childish swipes the Oak will eventually stumble. So it will be with my effort of today.

I will be liken to the rain drops which washes away the mountain; the ant who devours the tiger;

I will build my castle one brick at a time for I know that small attempts, repeated, will complete any undertaking.

I will persist until I succeed.

PROSPERITY IS IN YOUR GENES

BIBLE READING: MATTHEW 1-2, ACTS 1

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. 2 Peter 1:3

There are two things that produce what we become in life. The first is nature and the second is nurture. Every man or woman out there is a product of nature; spiritual and biological and nurture; upbringing, trainings, experiences etc. These two factors shape our destiny and determine our outcome more than anything else.

Everything God expects us to become has already been coded inside of us through His nature. As believers we have the nature of God called eternal life dwelling inside us. Prosperity is part of that nature. It is encoded in that nature.

God is not wealthy by possession alone but by nature that’s why poverty cannot thrive around Him. Out of that nature came all the heavens and the earth, the mineral resources in the land, the rich and lush agricultural plains, etc.

Everything was created out of eternal life which God possesses and gave to us. Eternal life is the source of creation; what God possessed before He brought forth everything. Out of it flowed forth the beautiful vegetations, the breathe taking scenery of hills and mountains and oceans, etc. That nature dwells in us as believers.

As long as you have eternal life, you have the life and nature of God 2 Peter 1:3 “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue”. The virtues, resources etc., you need to prosper in life have already been bequeathed to you when you received the life of Christ. As we nurture that life and all that comes with it. It translates into tangible wealth e.g, Solomon was given the spirit of wisdom by God and he was able to apply properly the things he learnt at the feet of David his father. Out of that nature can come, a billion dollar innovation, breakthrough ideas etc.

Say after me: “God has prosperity in His nature and I am God’s Seed, so I have prosperity in my nature”. You share the same DNA with God that’s why you are his offspring.

ACTION POINT:
Declare aloud, I reject poverty. Prosperity is in my genes. It runs in my spiritual bloodline. I am Abraham’s seed. Glory to Jesus.

PRAYER:
Pray for the Uganda missions by Pastor David Ogbueli this weekend that there will be an awakening and mighty move of God and souls will be won massively to the kingdom of God.

AN EDUCATED MIND

BIBLE READING: PROVERBS 8
Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. Prov. 24:3-4

The human spirit needs a sound and informed mind to also function. Dominion can never be attained in ignorance rather it breeds destruction. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Hosea 4:6

Ignorance enslaves, it puts you at the mercy of the one who knows. One of the traits of successful people is their reading habit. Anyone you see exercising dominion in any sphere is a reader. He/she constantly seeks knowledge in that sphere and keeps himself updated.

The world is moving at a very fast pace today, your mind can not afford to be 20years backward. It will be evident in the kind of results you will be getting.
When the Israelites were taken captive by king Nebuchadnezzar, one of the first things he commanded was for selected Hebrew boys to be taught the wisdom and the art of the Chaldeans.
Daniel was among these young men and God elevated him. And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes.
Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans. Daniel 1:3-4

An excellent spirit was in Daniel but he also had an informed mind making him tower above his peers. Spiritual knowledge can only give you spiritual dominion if you do not seek to educate your mind both formally and informally in other matters. School, mentorship, apprenticeship, books and articles, etc., are means of educating your mind.

Let us look at Proverbs 24:3-4 in The Living Bible version; Any enterprise is built by wise planning, becomes strong through common sense, and profits wonderfully by keeping abreast of the facts. To be in dominion, you must keep abreast of facts. Keep on studying and expanding your mind to be ready for what is ahead. Your smartphone has access to more knowledge than the average university library. Rather than it distracting you, turn it into a tool of learning.

ACTION POINT:
In addition to your bible and spiritual books, cultivate today the habit of reading; books, articles and journals etc., on a daily basis.
