FAITH FOR FINANCES
BIBLE READING: DEUT. 28:12-13
“And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:18 (NKJV)
Everything we get in the kingdom, we get by faith. Jesus' death on the cross purchased for us, all we would ever require for life and godliness, but to access them, we need faith. Rom. 10:17(NKJV) says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” This means that to get faith to access a specific blessing, we must hear again and again, and internalize God’s word concerning that particular thing we need.
The more we hear and study God’s word concerning finances, the more our faith for finance increases. I have just released a book titled ‘Building a Word Foundation’. There’s a section in that book that gives Bible quotations on finances that can be memorized and internalized. Get the book, and study the word and develop your faith for finances.
As you study these scriptures, you will find that some of them outline the principles for financial increase. Faith calls the things that be not as though they were. As you develop faith for finances, you will notice your confession and declaration will change. According to Romans 10:9-10, When faith enters your heart, it will reflect in what comes out of your mouth. With the heart man believes, with the mouth confession is made.....”
You might not have the cash today, but faith will override that condition and your declaration will be different. When you walk by faith statements like “I have no money” will cease from your vocabulary. Start calling yourself what God calls you. Abraham the father of faith was a rich man like Isaac and Jacob his sons.
In this season of harvest, study and boost your faith for finances, Follow the principles outlined in scripture prayerfully and you will definitely receive your financial harvest in Jesus name.
PRAYER:
Pick some of the scriptures that speak to you being rich and declare them loudly over yourself. 2 Cor. 8:9 etc

SEED FAITH
BIBLE READING: GALATIANS 6:7-9
He answered, “Because of your little faith [your lack of trust and confidence in the power of God]; for I assure you and most solemnly say to you, if you have [living] faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and [if it is God’s will] it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you Matthew 17:20 (AMP).
The source of everything in life begins with a seed—including the things we receive by faith. God says in Genesis 8:22(NKJV), “While the earth remains, seed-time and harvest… shall not cease.” The eternal law of seed-time and harvest, planting and reaping, giving and receiving will not change if the earth remains. When we put our faith in God’s hands like a seed we plant, we are giving God the raw materials to work with, and He will send the harvest due to us because God does not owe any man. No matter how small our faith seems to be, insofar as we exercise our faith despite the contrary circumstances, God has committed Himself to respond by providing the desired yield or answer at His own time.
The seed faith principle in the Bible contains three simple keys:
1. RECOGNIZE THAT GOD IS YOUR SOURCE: In the beginning, it was the Lord that made all things as stated in Genesis 1:1(AMP), In the beginning God (Elohim) created [by forming from nothing] the heavens and the earth. This incidence of ownership is further buttressed in 1Cor. 10:6 (AMP), “For the [whole] earth is the Lord's, and everything that is in it. As a loving Father who cares for us, God supplies all our needs as illustrated in Philippians 4:19 (KJV), “ But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” God will deploy many different instruments and channels to supply our needs—a job, doctors, friends, family—but He alone is the Source, Sustainer and He alone cannot fail. All blessings come from God, through the channel of men to men who are the ultimate beneficiaries.
2. GIVE FIRST, SO THAT IT MAY BE GIVEN BACK TO YOU: Luke 6:38(NKJV) says, “Give, and it will be given to you...” We must first plant a seed of faith so that God can multiply it back to meet our need. Jesus is talking about giving in the deepest sense of the word—the giving of ourselves to God first because God accepts our offerings from our hearts and not our hands. The state of our heart is fundamental because we are now stewarding God’s resources since He purchased us with a price. We are now expected to give the best of our love, time, patience, forgiveness, finances, prayers, and whatever else we may have bountifully; for the advancement of God’s Kingdom and blessing of humankind. Our giving reflects our trust in God, and it links us to His inexhaustible resources for our every need.
3. EXPECT A MIRACLE: Mark 11:24 (NKJV) says, “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” The moment we ask God for something, do our part and plant our seed of faith—we should believe God that the answer is on its way. It’s important to expect our miracle so we can recognize it and reach out to take it when it comes. And it’s also important to remember that God controls the times, seasons and methods He will use to give back to us. We must keep trusting Him and expecting our miracle, no matter how long it takes to reach us.
To reap that long anticipated harvest, you must give God something to work with today. No matter how little you think you have, sow it in joy and faith, knowing you are sowing seeds so you may reap the harvest. “ Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart* Gal. 6: 7 - 9(NKJV).”
Remember: God always sends the right answer at the right time, in the right way. His timing and methods are always exactly right for our lives
ACTION PLAN:
Make a list of what you have and can offer to God for the advancement of His Kingdom and solving humanity’s myriads of problems and immediately deploy these resources with joy and gratitude for the opportunity to sow/serve.

THE CROSS AND PROSPERITY
BIBLE READING: II CORINTHIANS 8:9
“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.” 2 Cor. 8:9
Jesus' death on the cross of Calvary did more than purchase freedom from sin for us. His death also redeemed us from the curse of poverty. Jesus as the Son of God and the Word of God who created all things, dwelt in eternity with the riches and wealth of heaven, at His every beck and call. He had many crowns on His head and yet He left it all behind to come to earth, to save mankind.
As He went to the cross, He exchanged the crown of glory for a crown of thorns, thereby redeeming man from poverty and from the curse of fruitless labor without productivity. Our scripture for today emphasizes it; Jesus left all his wealth behind and became poor exchanging our poverty for his wealth. Hallelujah.
In the book of John 18:8... Jesus answered, “I have told you that I am He. Therefore, if you seek Me, let these go their way..." When the soldiers came for Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus struck a deal with the devil. He told the devil that he had to let us go if he was going to arrest and kill Jesus. He said, “let these ones go if you have come for Me.” Meaning if you put death on me, you can’t put death on these ones, if you put sickness on me, you can’t put it on these ones and in the same way if you out poverty on Me, you can’t put it on them. The devil agreed to the deal and killed Jesus, as a result with His death, Jesus purchased for us prosperity and abundance.
So, every time you see yourself in lack and want, remember that your prosperity has been paid for and poverty is illegal in your life. Hallelujah.
PRAYER:
Lord I know, that I am not the poor trying to be rich, I am the wealthy manifesting and maintaining my wealth. Thank you Lord for this gift as I live in Dominion, in Jesus name, Amen.
