ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE
BIBLE READING: LUKE 11:5-13
You live in a world of plenty; a world of unlimited creativity; a world in which control has been placed in your hands. You control what happens around you by what you say. You create the things you desire to see or have through your prayers. James raised a lamentation when he saw how many were suffering severe lack and deprivation in the midst of plenty. So he cried out, “You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures” (James 4:2-3).
If we fail to pray, God does nothing, even though He is ever present with us. Prayer is earthly licence for heavenly intervention. God handed over the earth to man at creation. Whatever man allows is what will be established here; whatever he disallows will not be established here. “The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S; But the earth He has given to the children of men” (Psalms 115:16). The right to rule on earth is yours and you rule by what you decree.
What do you want to see in the year we have just stepped into? What do you want to become of your walk with God; the works of your hands; your family and your community; your leaders and your nation? Table your requests before God now and always and He will grant you the desires of your heart.
PRAYER POINTS:
• Raise a song of worship and thank God for being your Father and for being so gracious.
•Pray for the salvation of those that do not have this privilege yet of acknowledging God as their Father.
• Pray that more labourers will arise and take the Dominion Mandate to the ends of the earth.
CONFESSION:
My confidence is that whenever I ask anything in accordance with God’s will, He hears and answers me.

THE PRAYER OF AGREEMENT
BIBLE READING: ACTS 4:23-31
Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. Acts 12:5
We have established that prayer is very important and that as believers, we can’t do without prayer. It is the only way to get God on the scene and to ensure that God’s purpose is established on earth. The Bible says “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16. What this means is .that: if a believer prays fervently and by faith, a tremendous amount of power to get things done, is made available. If however that believer is joined by another believer, the amount of power generated and made available to them increases many fold. This is what is known as corporate prayer or prayer of agreement.
It is when two or more believers come together in faith and pray concerning a common desired result. The level of anointing generated is so much that Ezekiel describes the volume of it as a river that cannot be passed over . Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over. Ezekiel 47:5 This level of anointing is called the corporate anointing; and it can only be generated when we come together to pray in agreement. No single person is able to carry or generate this level of anointing.
What this simply means is that: there are certain situations that come up, that your supplication alone will not be able to handle. No matter your level spiritually, some issues will always be beyond you. To handle such situations, you need to come into agreement with one or more people and the power released will bring your miracle to you. This is what Jesus meant when he said “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:18-20
ACTION POINT:
Thank God for the revelation you have received today and take advantage by looking for a partner that will agree with you concerning any prayer point you may have.
