WE ARE A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD
REVELATION 5:10; REVELATION 20:6; REVELATION 1:6
"But ye are a Chosen Generation, a Royal Priesthood, an Holy Nation, a Peculiar People; that ye should shew forth the Praises of Him Who hath called you out of darkness into His Marvellous Light." 1Peter 2:9(KJV)
A royal priest is a priestly king or someone who functions as both a king and a priest. It was always God's Intention for His children to function as both priest and king (Ex. 19:6). As priests they do the job of ministering on the Altar while as kings they reign and rule from their thrones, exercising Dominion over diverse territories. Melchizedek was the Representation of this New Order as he was both priest and king (Gen. 14:18-2. The Lord Jesus Christ came as a Priest after the Order of Melchizedek (Ps. 110:4). On this premise, we as Christian believers are called to function as priests and kings after the Same Order.
God wants us to function both as priests and kings because of the very important relationship that exists between these two offices. The king reigns from a throne. The power of the throne is not resident in the throne itself but rather in the altar that is backing it. Simply put, every throne is as strong as the altar that backs it. As Christian priests, we minister on the Altar and contact the Power of God (Matt. 23:16-22). We then carry that Power into the different spheres of society that the Lord God Almighty has given us Dominion over to reign and rule as kings on His Behalf. What an awesome privilege indeed!
PRAYER:
O Lord, please grant us Understanding of our Dual Position in Christ as both kings and priests. Please help us to function maximally to the full capacity of our potential in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PROPHETIC DECLARATION AND CONFESSION OF FAITH
BIBLE READING: 2KINGS 3:15-27; MARK 11:12-26
"And since we have the Same Spirit of Faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak." 2Corinthians 4:13(NKJV)
In Mark's Gospel, the Lord Jesus mentions believing once and confession—or saying something—three times (Mk. 11:23). People usually don't miss it in their believing but rather they miss it in their saying or their confession. When people know and confess who they are in Christ and take advantage of that fact, they cannot fail in their Christian Life. The Bible does not teach that if you simply believe in your heart, you will receive an answer. It says that if you believe with your heart and say it with your mouth, you will have whatever you say. Romans 10:8 says this: “But what saith it? The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the Word of Faith, which we preach.” Notice that the Word of Faith must be in both your mouth and heart.
Few Christian believers have recognized the place confession holds in their lives. Unfortunately, when the word “confession” is used, people invariably think of confessing sin, weakness and failure. That is the negative side of confession. There is also a positive side and the Bible says more about the positive side than the negative. The dictionary says that to confess means “to make a confession of one’s faults, to acknowledge faith in.” If you only confess faults and failures, you will grow lopsided in your Christian Life. You will build weakness, sin and failure consciousness into your spirit. Christianity is called “The Great Confession.” What then is confession?
(1.) First, it is declaring what you believe to be true.
(2.) Second, it is giving evidence to what you know in your heart.
(3.) Third, it is testifying to the Truth you have accepted.
But you must know what you are to confess. Genuine Confession centers on five key areas:
(a.) First, what God in Christ did for you in the Plan of Redemption.
(b.) Second, what God through the Word and the Holy Spirit did for you in the New Birth and the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
(c.) Third, what you are to God the Father.
(d.) Fourth, what Jesus is doing for you now, seated at the Right Hand of the Father, where He ever lives to make intercession for us. (Heb. 7:25).
(e.) Fifth, what God can do through you, or what His Word will do as you speak it.
You can’t confess about things you don’t know anything about. If you are a witness in a courtroom, it is what you have seen and heard that stands as evidence. Your opinion doesn’t count. What matters is what you know about Jesus and who you are in Him. Many people know the Lord as their Personal Saviour, but they don’t know their privileges in Him. When people know and confess who they are in Christ and take advantage of that fact, they cannot fail in their Christian Life. Prophetic Declaration is the next stage after Prophetic Activation. It is the declaration of God's Word under the Anointing. That is the declaration of God's Word when the Hand of God is upon one's life (Ezek. 37:1-7). The words you declare under the Anointing are creative. The words are as powerful as if God Himself is speaking. When the Earth was in darkness, God spoke under the Anointing and what He declared He saw. When we make Prophetic Declarations, the speed of the manifestation is usually faster than Confessions of Faith not spoken under the Anointing.
PRAYER:
Father, we pray You help us to always declare Your Word over every circumstance and situation we may face in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.

THE PURPOSE AND POWER OF PROPHETIC ACTIVATION
BIBLE READING: 2 KINGS 3:14-27; EZEKIEL 37:1-22
"The Hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. Again He said to me, "Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, "O dry bones, hear the Word of the Lord!” Ezekiel 37:1,4(NKJV).
Prophetic Activation involves the steps a Christian believer engages for the Anointing to be generated or the Hand of God to be available, just as described in the Scriptures: "The Earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters." Gen. 1: 2(NKJV). We also see how Prophetic Music through the ministry of a minstrel or anointed instrumentalist stirred up the Prophetic Unction upon Elisha the prophet: "But now bring me a musician." Then it happened, when the musician played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him. And he said, "Thus says the Lord: "Make this valley full of ditches.” 2Kgs. 3:15-16(NKJV).
The Anointing is generated when one engages in Prayer, Praise, Thanksgiving, Worship etc."And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord." Eph. 5:18-19(NKJV).
When the believer speaks under the Anointing, his words are creative and as powerful as if God Himself spoke. The believer declaring words under the Anointing can turnaround bad situations and execute the Counsel of God. May the Lord open our eyes to fully understand and maximize the Principles of Prophetic Activation.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, we pray You help us to learn how to declare words under the Anointing of the Holy Spirit so as to enable us to bring to pass the Will of God in our lives in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.

GO SHOW YOURSELF TO THE PRIEST
BIBLE READING: LEVITICUS 14:1-32; MARK 1:44; EZEKIEL 44:30-31
"And Jesus said to him, “See that you tell no one; but go your way, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them." Matthew 8:4(NKJV).
The Lord God Almighty is truly Worthy of our gratitude for His Faithfulness towards us this year. He alone is the One Who ensures that "the end of a thing is better than its beginning."(Ecc. 7:8). Therefore, we are still alive to thrive in the land of the living. However, even though God Himself is our Source, He has raised certain men as channels through whom we have been sustained throughout the year.
In Leviticus 14:1-32, lepers being healed of their leprosy were mandated by Moses the Lawgiver to appear before the priest with various gifts. We are made to understand that the priests played an integral role in the cleansing process proper: "And the priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them as a wave offering before the Lord. Then he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering and put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot."(v 24-25). By making this atonement before the Lord on behalf of the leper, the priest was establishing a premise upon which God would intervene with healing. Furthermore, the Bible validates the role of the priest by stating clearly that "the Lord your God has chosen them to minister to Him and to bless in the Name of the Lord; by their word, every controversy and every assault shall be settled." (Deut. 21:5). The gifts the lepers were mandated to give to the priests were an Expression of Thanksgiving which the priest received in the Name of the Lord. Leprosy is known to be a degenerative disease, hence the cleansing process brought about restoration to the afflicted. Since all truths are parallel, we can rightly say that the Restorative Role that priests play in our lives goes way beyond the cleansing of leprosy.
Throughout the year, areas such as health, family, business, ministry, etc., experienced a restorative boost through the ministry of authentic priests. The Scripture declares "Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially those who labour in the Word and Doctrine." (1Tim. 5:17). In other words, genuine priests or pastors who have laboured well in providing Spiritual Nourishment are deemed worthy of or qualified for double the honour others such as your doctors, lawyers and public servants deserve.
In the Old Testament, the Levites were not even given a physical inheritance because "the Lord is his Inheritance." (Deut. 10:9). However, the Lord instructed the children of Israel to ensure that the Levites and priests were given a physical portion i.e., forty-eight cities to be exact, within each of their allotted territories: "Command the children of Israel that they give the Levites cities to dwell in from the inheritance of their possession, and you shall also give the Levites common-land around the cities." (Num. 35:2). By doing this, the Lord set a Precedent for the Mandatory Sustenance of the priesthood due to the quality of service they rendered every year to Israel. By this, we can clearly see that it is forbidden to "muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain." (1Cor. 9:9).
The year 2022 is fast coming to a close. We are in a Season of Thanksgiving. As we offer the Lord our heartfelt gratitude for all He has done in our lives this past year, let us do well to remember the priestly channels He used to move things on our behalf. Do not end the year without showing yourself to the priest because "by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt and by a prophet he was preserved." (Hos. 12:13).
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, to You alone we ascribe all the Thanks, Praise and Worship. O Lord, we exalt Your Name for giving us pastors according to Your Heart who feed us with Knowledge and Understanding. Please grant us a Revelation of the role of our priests in our lives that we may act appropriately and accordingly. Receive all the Honour in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
