YuSocial Account Verification Policy

At YuSocial, account verification is designed to highlight authentic profiles of public figures, businesses, and content creators who contribute positively to the community. The verification badge helps users identify credible individuals and brands while maintaining trust across the platform.

Purpose of Verification

Verification exists to:

• Establish authenticity and trustworthiness
• Help users identify notable public figures, professionals, or active businesses
• Protect against impersonation and spam
• Reward users who meaningfully engage with the community

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for verification on YuSocial, users must meet all basic requirements and at least one of the advanced criteria listed below.

Basic Requirements (All Users):

• Complete profile: clear profile photo and descriptive bio
• Minimum of 10 quality posts
• Account must be at least 30 days old
• No history of major policy violations

Advanced Criteria (Must meet at least one):

Public Figures / Professionals:

• Verified identity (government-issued ID or professional credentials)
• Recognizable online presence (social media, blog, or media features)
• Must have at least 500 followers on YuSocial

Businesses / Brands:

• Valid business documentation or website
• Verified email or phone number
• Active in the YuSocial marketplace or publishing valuable content

Verification for PRO Subscribers

• Verification requests are available by default to all YuSocial PRO subscribers as part of their premium benefits.
• Non-subscribers may also apply for verification, but only accounts that clearly meet the public figure or business criteria will be considered.

Application and Review Process

• PRO users can apply directly from their dashboard
• Non-subscribers can request an invite to apply (subject to admin review)
• All applications are manually reviewed by our moderation team
• Review decisions will be communicated within 7–14 business days
• Reapplications are allowed after 30 days if previously declined

Important Notes

• Verification does not imply endorsement by YuSocial
• Verified status may be removed if user violates platform policies or becomes inactive
