"In 2015, Edu Inam, a young lecturer from the University of Uyo, with a PhD in Chemistry approached me with a proposal to support the establishment in the University of a Sustainable Energy Laboratory for Research, Technology, and Innovation (called the International Center for Energy and Environmental Sustainability Research). I am glad I gave my support because that center is already doing great things and just recently, we became a beneficiary."
