The first day I went to visit my aunty in abuja, I noticed her fridge was stock up.

I was on a vacation. public holiday after my JSS3 Junior waec.

Growing up I didn't really enjoy that luxury lifestyle where everything would be everywhere intact especially inside the fridge.

But I noticed something about my Aunty's fridge stock up with all kinds of eat-able, it was as if no one touches the fridge.

The first day i arrived the house and she went to fridge and brought out chilled bigi cola for me.

I was told to feel at home, so I felt at home, but my Aunty's children were just looking at me.

I thought that they were used to eat, you know you get tired of something when you have it more than enough.

But let me not lie, in my house where I grew up, immediately we see drink or bread anytime like, we don't let it see the next day.

We eat it immediately.

But again, I appreciated how calm my Aunty's children were, but I vowed to myself that since everything was in bulk, soft drinks, biscuit, .. I will eat till I get tired.

I came to have vacation and I will have it to the fullest.

So the following day when my aunty went to work.

I was at home with the children and I was feeling thirsty, I decided to go to the fridge and take a bottle of bigi cola and biscuit's.

My Aunty's children were just looking at me.

My aunty came back later in the evening.

Minutes later, she called all of us.

Who took one bigi cola from the fridge.

She was actually with a book.

Everybody pointed at me.

Ayochidi, I thought your cousins showed you the timetable on how to take drink and eat in this house. she asked.

I nodded to yes.

But you didn't find it necessary. she asked.

I was thirsty I said.

To make sure, you will start to follow the rules of this house That coke is your evening food, how many pieces of biscuit did you eat? she asked.

I brought out an empty carton of the cabin biscuit I ate.

You ate one full carton? only you? ayo!!!. she asked.

Don't worry you will eat tomorrow, and remember breakfast on Saturday is by 10am, and its tea with biscuit and off course, you have eaten your biscuit for the whole Month. she said.

I had to call my mom the following day that I want to come back home.. I wasn't trained with time table.
