Business tycoon, Aliko Dangote, has disclosed the reason he and Microsoft founder, Bill Gates, visited President Bola Tinubu.

Dangote made this known in a chat with newsmen after his visit to the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Monday.

Dangote also commended the President for the removal of fuel subsidy, expressing confidence that more state funds would be allocated to education, health, infrastructure, and other critical areas of the economy.

He said in part, “It’s just a courtesy call. We came in, me and my friend Bill Gates, to congratulate him once more for his successful election into this office and also to brief him on what the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Aliko Dangote Foundation have been doing in Nigeria, committing to do more and to help Nigeria so that our health sector will keep improving, which will turn out to be better for the whole citizens of the country."
