What happened to the lifestyle I had envisioned? By now, I should have had my own house, a thriving business, and a family. So why was I still squatting—with someone who was also a squatter? I was confused. I had completely lost touch with myself, the world, and everyone around me. I was merely a shadow of the person I used to be.
