• Always test your setup!

So earlier today, I was setting up a sales funnel for a new product and then casually decided to test the setup via incognito mode; only to discover that the coupon code section wasn't allowing orders get completed.

It was then I remembered I had turned on that feature while I was setting up the whole system.

Imagine sending traffic to that product and getting no sales, it would have been wasted funds and lost business.

Well, though I already formed a habit of testing my setups, this was just a reminder that one can't be too careful.

Do you need help setting up your ecommerce system or sales funnel?

  • CBN Rolls Out New FX Sales Regulation for BDCS

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has unveiled a new regulatory framework for foreign exchange (FX) sales specifically targeting Bureau De Change operators (BDCS).

Announced on February 5, 2025, the regulation aims to bring greater transparency and control to the FX market by standardizing practices among BDCS and curbing speculative trading that has long destabilized the Naira.

Key aspects of the new framework include tighter oversight on FX transactions and stricter compliance measures for BDCS.

The CBN's move is seen as part of a broader strategy to enhance the integrity of Nigeria's currency market and mitigate the risks associated with unregulated foreign exchange dealings.

While the specifics of the regulation—such as transaction limits and reporting requirements—are yet to be fully detailed, industry observers believe this could mark a turning point in how the FX market operates in Nigeria.

This regulatory overhaul by the CBN could significantly reshape the dynamics of Nigeria's foreign exchange market.

On one hand, it promises a more orderly and transparent environment that might restore investor confidence and stabilize the Naira.
On the other, it raises important questions: Will these measures inadvertently constrain liquidity or push BDCS operators towards the black market?

How will the market adapt to these new constraints, and can we expect a smoother transition to a more resilient FX ecosystem?

As stakeholders debate the potential benefits and drawbacks, one thing is clear—this is a pivotal moment for Nigeria's financial landscape.

What are your thoughts on the new FX sales regulation?
Is this the necessary intervention to safeguard our currency, or could it bring unintended challenges?

Join the conversation and share your insights.

  • As we step into a new chapter of growth and innovation, I’d like to share some key insights to help you maximize your results on NG Adverts. These principles can help you refine your marketing strategies and achieve sustainable success:

    1. Commit to Doing Things Differently
There’s an old saying: “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” To see real change, you must be willing to embrace new strategies, experiment with fresh ideas, and adapt to the ever-evolving digital landscape. Staying stagnant is not an option when growth is the goal.

    2. Test, Test, Test
The best marketers aren’t afraid to test. Run A/B tests on your ad campaigns to see what works and what doesn’t. Test headlines, visuals, copy, and calls-to-action. Testing empowers you to make data-driven decisions that lead to better performance and higher ROI.

    3. Create Funnels, Not Just Sales Pages
Sending traffic directly to a sales page is like asking someone to buy without building trust. Instead, guide your prospects through a well-thought-out funnel. Start with awareness, offer value, nurture their interest, and only then make the sale. A funnel creates a seamless journey for your audience, increasing conversions and building long-term loyalty.

    4. Learn to Automate Your Processes
Time is your most valuable resource. By automating repetitive tasks, you free up time to focus on strategy and creativity. Email sequences, follow-ups, and even parts of your advertising can be automated to ensure consistent engagement without added effort.

    5. Think Long-Term: Marketing is a Marathon, Not a Sprint
Real success doesn’t happen overnight. While quick wins are great, the true value lies in consistency and persistence. Build a brand that stays top of mind, delivers value over time, and fosters trust with your audience. The results will come, but patience is key.

At NG Adverts, we’re here to support you every step of the way. Let’s work together to make 2025 your most successful year yet.

Here’s to your growth and success!

    Warm regards,

    Israel
