Ajuwa Academy Partners Real Oviedo Of Spain


Bina Ajuwa, a one-time Nigeria international, now a FIFA licensed player Intermediary, Bina Ajuwa has brokered a huge deal for Lagos based, Ajuwa Football Academy with Spanish Segunda side, Real Oviedo, Orient Sports reports.

Ajuwa revealed that having gone through challenges before hitting the success cord in sports business, the agreement was carefully packaged for the benefit of both the Academy and the Spanish club, Real Oviedo, as his experience in football both as a player and manager came to bear during the negotiations.


The former Celta Vigo of Spain midfielder said the partnership content is very rich and will be of immense advantage to gifted young players.

“For years now, we’ve been working on this project. On two occasions we came with officials of the club to inspect our facilities as well as organize trial games for some football Academies in Lagos and Uyo in Akwa Ibom State.



“Our consultant, Sammy Etuk, who is also our media director prepared the ground work for us, today it has become a reality and we are happy,” he said.

Ajunwa, who also had a stint with F.C Benfica of Portugal, listed the benefits of the contract between his academy and Real Oviedo to include, sending of coaches every quarter of the year to provide modern training technique to players of Ajuwa football academy amongst others.

The media director, Sammy Etuk added that, “They (Real Oviedo) will also provide opportunity for the academy coaches to benefit from training programs and induction courses in Spain”.

“Other gains include provision of opportunity for the academy players to attend youth tournaments or undertake playing tour in Spain, invitation of at least two players yearly for trials/training and development program in Spain as well as provision of training and match kits for the academy”.

The Academy president, Dickson Ajuwa disclosed that the Football School is strongly supported by Bina Ajuwa, who is now FIFA intermediary based in London.
