As the forthcoming Local Government Elections for Councillors across the 368Wards from 31 local government Areas in Akwa Ibom State draws close, Nigeria Ex Beauty Queen, Shoemaker and Enterpreneur, Queen Sandra Bassey joins the race, as Candidate of the People Democratic Party, for Abak Urban Ward2, as campaign commences in October.
According to reports and findings garnered by StatePress during a voxpop conducted in Abak Urban Ward2, we noticed that the visionary intensions of Queen Sandra Bassey was premised on growth, human capacity development and inclusiveness for the people of Abak Urban Ward2 in Akwa Ibom state.
Queen Sandra Bassey, who is passionate about humanity and how best development and improvements can be achieved in such areas believes that collective efforts and collaboration is key to the successful advancement of any community or state. She has assured the people of Abak Urban Ward2, that if she is elected as Councillor, her campaign promises of growth, human capacity development and inclusiveness, will be the core priority of her Administration.
She has however continued to receive support from several individuals, Institutions, groups and associations, who have notified her of their endless support to ensure that she emerge elected at the October 31 2020 Local Government elections in Akwa Ibom state. On of the few personalities who assured her of continued support for her political career, was Mr. Alex Nwankwo, who is also Queen Bassey's Manager also reiterated his unequivocal support for vision.
Queen Sandra Bassey, the Candidate of People Democratic, is not just a politician with notable leadership qualities, but also a Humanitarian, who has touched so many lives through her pet projects, empowerment initiatives and community-based project which are targeted at the widows and the less-privileged children, not only in Akwa Ibom but across the entire Niger Delta region.
