1) Do people around you know your business or what you do?
2) Do you market to people on your street, church, office?
If your answer is no, then you are not making use of your circle.

If your friends and family members don't know what one does, how does one expect to get referrals?
The fact is that before somebody says there's no money to advertise, there's a lot of free resources and opportunities that have not been tapped into.
