STUDENT RECEIVES CAR GIFT FROM VICE CHANCELLOR

Godfrey Okoye University Vice Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Christian Anieke, awarded a student of the university a car for emerging the first male student VC of the school. He said the car cost him 3.9 million naira.

The student, Vitalis Iloanuwusi became the overall best student with a CGPA of 5.0 in two semesters, and was made a GO Uni for one day.

According to Rev. Fr. Anieke, the university adopted the 'VC for one day ' award to motivate students. And former recipients of the award are now doing very well in life, showing that the programme was a helpful one.

"We believe that when they taste success, they will crave for more in life and I believe this boy Vitalis will not go for something below excellence because he has taken seat as VC," said the Vice Chancellor.
