DECIDE THIS DAY, TO BECOME AN EARLY ADOPTER

Yesterday I was riding with Ngozi my friend and we started to talk about how everything gets harder when more people jump into it.

Growing on Instagram now is far harder than years ago.

Making sales using Facebook Ads is now far harder than years ago.

Making money from building websites is now far harder than years ago.

Making money from POS business is now far harder than years ago.

I was telling her that once a new concept or platform or small business technology is released, I have promised myself that I must be among the early adopters.

I am tired of coming late to the party and struggling to find a seat.

People who are late adopters to technology or new innovation struggle to make it because they arrive when many people have already jumped in and the market has hit saturation.

These days, when I drive past a large screen board, I read it and I find a few minutes to look up what it is about.

I am not coming late to anything anymore.

I have my ears to the ground, once I sniff anything that has to do with my small business, I will stop, take a look and explore it gladly.

Canva has been announcing that they are becoming a more explosive tool.

They have shared videos and roadmaps to show what they are becoming.

I have sat down, watched the videos, joined the waitlist and planned a future with it.

Late adopters struggle with things that others have enjoyed and moved on.

I remember many years ago, I setup an accounting software for a man who was doing over 200 daily POS transactions in Ikorodu. He had 4 employees and a decent office. He was like a mini bank in the area.

Today, there are 100 others in that same area. Each doing maybe 20 transactions a day with far less profits.

Today, I want to charge you, stop coming late to the party.

Stop being a late adopter.

If something is happening around you, find time to stop, take a look, ask questions, pick interest and earn your own share of the early hot cake.

This is 2022, millions of people have made billions on Instagram, you have never even signed up or taken a look at it. Yet you are crying about low sales.

How do you think Nelly my friend did it?
She blew up because she jumped on Instagram very early when me and you were still saying, "What is this Instagram sef?"

She was teaching Instagram everyday at 9pm. I used to think she was a jobless fellow.

Little did I know I was the foo.lish one. Today, brands are paying heavy for Nelly to just mention them.

Decide this day that you will become an early adopter of good technology and new ideas that can grow your business.

Decide this day
Decide this day
Decide this day

Early adopter
Early adopter
From today

No more coming late
No more coming late

When a new thing comes out
I will stop and ask
I will check it out
I will not turn a blind eye

For the benefits of coming early are massive.

I love you!
