Yemi Alade Reveals… ‘I Was Once Offered 20 Cows For My Hand In Marriage’
Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade has revealed that a masai (from a tribe in Kenya) offered 20 cows for her hand in marriage.
The 30-year-old revealed this on Instagram on Friday when she posted a photo of herself in Maasai attire.

She revealed that a Masai had offered 20 cows for her hand in marriage, but was discouraged by his friend who said the singer was ‘fat and can’t build houses’.
“A Masai Offered Me 20 cows For My hand in Marriage, but his friend said that I am fat😂😂😂 and I can’t build houses!😂😂” she wrote.
Yemi Alade went on to share some facts about the Masai, “The first and oldest wife’s house is usually the first followed by the second wife’s and the others respectively…”

50 Y/O Man Arrested For Impregnating 13 Y/O Step Daughter
A 50-year-old man identified as Kayode Oladehinde has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly defiling his 13-year-old stepdaughter and and putting her in the family way.
The suspect was arrested following a complaint filed by the mother of the victim at Ogijo Divisional headquarters. Oladehinde was accused of giving the girl a drug that left her bleeding profusely after he realized she was pregnant.
Ogun State Police Spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the arrest of the suspect and also disclosed that the incident occurred on February 4 at Ogijo in Sagamu Local Government Area of the state.

He said;

“Men of the Ogun State Police Command on 5th of February 2020 arrested one Kayode Oladehinde ‘m’ a resident of Olope Street Ogijo for defiling his 13-year-old stepdaughter (name withheld).

“The suspect was arrested following a report from the mother of the victim who complained at Ogijo Divisional Headquarters that her daughter informed her on the 4th of February 2020 that the suspect, who is her present husband, sometimes recently forcefully had carnal knowledge of her as a result of which she got pregnant.”
Oladehinde who had no tangible reason for defiling his stepdaughter, only pleaded for forgiveness from his wife and the victim who is his stepdaughter when confronted.

The state’s Commissioner of Police, Kenneth Ebrimson has already ordered the transfer of the suspect to Anti-human Trafficking and Child Labour unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and possible prosecution.

Policemen And Others Killed As Robbers Storm Banks In Ondo State [Graphic Photos]
Many were killed today after some dare-devil robbers stormed two banks in Ile Oluji town, the headquarters of Ile Oluji/Oke-Igbo Local Government Area of Ondo State on Thursday February 6.

Eyewitnesses who confirmed the attack, said the robbers gained entry into the bank with dynamites. Policemen, a bank security guard and customer were shot dead in the attack.

Soldier’s Wife Arrested For Allegedly Beating Her Stepdaughter To Death Over Plantain [Graphic Photo]
A lady has been arrested for allegedly beating her stepdaughter to death in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital for eating plantain the father of the girl bought for the house.
It was gathered that even after a female soldier intervened, the lady said to be the wife of a soldier serving at the 6 Division of the Nigeria Army in Port Harcourt called her husband who ordered the female soldier out of their apartment.
The 10-year-old girl reportedly slumped and died after her stepmother continued beating her after the female soldier left their apartment. She was confirmed dead after being rushed to a nearby clinic.

The soldier and his wife are now being detained by officials of the 6 Division of the Nigeria Army in Port Harcourt.

NYSC Kano State Coordinator, Malam Baba Ladan, who led other NYSC Staff and Corps Members to the wedding reception which took place at Nigeria Air Force Base in Kano, commended the new couple for maintaing their relationship which blossomed into marriage.
He also praised them for fulfilling one of the objectives of the NYSC Scheme which is to achieve national unity and integration.
