Accident Claim Lives Of Catholic Members While Returning From Oke Maria Pilgrimage
Six catholic faithful have lost their lives after they were involved in an accident while returning from the annual Oke Maria Pilgrimage in Osun state.
A tragic accident which occurred at a sharp bend in Eripa, along Iree-Otan Ayegbaju-Ila Orangun road in Osun State on Sunday February 9 claimed the lives of 6 Catholic faithfuls.
The late victims of the accident who were reportedly returning from the annual Oke Maria Pilgrimage (Prayer Mountain) in Otan Ayegbaju, were passenges of an 18-seater Liteace bus belonging to SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Lagere. 9 occupants of same vehicle also sustained injuries from the accident.
Osun Police Spokesperson, Folashade Odoro confirmed the accident and also disclosed that the driver lost control of bus which ran into a ditch. He urged motorists to avoid over speeding and dangerous driving.

Two serving corps members in Kano have tied the knot months after the met during their orientation program in the state.
The couple Mohammed Alhaji Musa and Hauwa Yahaya Bagudu both met during the 2019 Batch ‘A’ Orientation Course, where they reportedly fell in love with each other.
A post shared on NYSC Official Forum reads:
The ancient city of Kano stood still today when two serving Corps Members, Mohammed Alhaji
Musa and Hauwa Yahaya Bagudu exchanged marital vows.
The new couple met at NYSC Kano State Orientation Camp in Kusallah Dam Karaye during the 2019 Batch ‘A’ Orientation Course.
NYSC Kano State Coordinator, Malam Baba Ladan, who led other NYSC Staff and Corps Members to the wedding reception which took place at Nigeria Air Force Base in Kano, commended the new couple for maintaing their relationship which blossomed into marriage.
He also praised them for fulfilling one of the objectives of the NYSC Scheme which is to achieve national unity and integration.
The Coordinator used the ocassion to appeal to other Corps Members to build relationships that would bring good memories in the future.
