Business tycoon, Aliko Dangote, has disclosed the reason he and Microsoft founder, Bill Gates, visited President Bola Tinubu.
Dangote made this known in a chat with newsmen after his visit to the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Monday.
Dangote also commended the President for the removal of fuel subsidy, expressing confidence that more state funds would be allocated to education, health, infrastructure, and other critical areas of the economy.
He said in part, “It’s just a courtesy call. We came in, me and my friend Bill Gates, to congratulate him once more for his successful election into this office and also to brief him on what the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Aliko Dangote Foundation have been doing in Nigeria, committing to do more and to help Nigeria so that our health sector will keep improving, which will turn out to be better for the whole citizens of the country."
Afrobeats star Davido on Monday night thrilled the audience at the Juneteenth concert in Greek Theatre, Los Angeles, United States.
Juneteenth is a holiday celebrated every 19th of June to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people in the US.
During the concert, Davido performed "Feel It" and "Unavailable" from his 'Timeless' album.
Nigerians dig up a 2013 interview where Tonto Dikeh denied knowing Iyanya
The video was dug up after Yvonne Nelson revealed that she and Iyanya broke up in 2012 because Tonto Dikeh came into the picture.
However in a 2013 interview with media personality, Ebuka, Tonto Dikeh denied knowing Iyanya and also claimed that they’ve met only once or twice.
