*DOMINION MANDATE DAILY DEVOTIONAL*

TUESDAY, JUNE 16, 2020

*THE ADAMIC MANDATE*

*BIBLE READING: EZEKIEL 28:11-19, 1CORINTHIANS 15:45-47*

*Then God said, "Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea; over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth." Genesis 1: 26-28 (NKJV).*

In our devotional today we will be looking at the mandate that God gave to Adam. Firstly, let's start by getting a dictionary definition of a mandate. "A mandate is an official order or commission to do something; to give someone authority to act in a certain way". From our text in the book of Genesis 1:26-28, Adam was given a fivefold mandate by God:

i) Be fruitful - that is be productive.
ii) Multiply - increase in numbers.
iii) Replenish - to fill or refill.
iv) Subdue - to control.
v) Have dominion - to have authority.

Included in this mandate is the scope, geographical location, systems and structures that will enable Adam to deliver or execute the mandate perfectly. All was going well with the mandate until the arch-enemy of God; Satan crept into the garden and deceived Eve and then Adam fell to the subtility of the enemy. The mandate was not withdrawn, because the mandate came with a lease. As long as Adam was on the earth, the mandate was not revoked. The mandate given to Adam was that of stewardship and not ownership, so Adam could not sell-off the earth to Satan. But Satan succeeded in corrupting the systems and structures that were meant to enable Adam deliver on the mandate optimally. As a result of this, the earth no longer responded to Adam the way it was meant to in the original intent and purpose of God. The corruption in the systems and structures introduced the law of scarcity and fear contrary to God's original intent of the law of abundance, grace, and blessing that forecloses lack and poverty.

After the fall, Adam gave birth to his children which kicked in the multiply part of the dominion mandate. Man even in his fallen state has exercised this mandate to a large extent. All kinds of inventions have been made by man. He has conquered the airspace, the seas, the depths of the earth, etc. And though most of these men were never believers in the God of heaven and earth, this mandate has given man even in his fallen state, the capacity to do all that he already has achieved. The mandate however, is no longer exercised to the fullest capacity, because God also placed certain limitations on the systems and structures of the dominion mandate after the fall.

It was as a result of that mandate that Noah, a descendant of Adam was able to build the ark that exercised dominion over the flood (Genesis 7:5 - 16). When Jesus the last Adam came, He came to take back the authority that the first man Adam had given to the devil. The limitations placed on the systems and structures of the mandate was dealt with by the last Adam, and He made a new covenant (systems and structures) that makes possible for the new creation to operate on the Adamic mandate and much more. Your nativity determines your authority, the Lord from heaven whom no systems or structures can hinder, has now made it possible for man to exercise the fullness of the Adamic mandate, and more (Phil. 3: 20-21; Hebrews 8:6).

*PRAYER
Father, I thank You for restoring man back to the place of dominion when You fulfilled the demands of justice by shedding the blood of Your Son Jesus. Now because of His divine exchange on the cross, flood my eyes with revelation light, give me knowledge and understanding of new concepts that will enable me to excercise dominion in my spheres of influence in Jesus' name.

By the blood of Jesus Christ, I am a priest and a king, I am seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus and I have dominion over the challenges of life.

DAILY DECLARATIONS FOR TODAY 16 JUNE 2020 TUESDAY

I speak to the gates of 16th June 2020, I will overcome everything that will come my way today, in the mighty name of Jesus

This morning, the presence of God will go with me and my household, in the mighty name of Jesus

I decree worry will not replace worship in my life, I will never nurture evil thoughts and imaginations in my life, in the mighty name of Jesus

I decree complain and ungratefulness will never replace the attitude of praise in my life. I will be satisfied always and be thankful for all, in the mighty name of Jesus

I decree in all that I do I will always end in praise and nothing will cause me to end in sadness, because I know God has better plans for my life, in the mighty name of Jesus

I decree my existence will never be a mistake because I live daily to fulfill purpose in all aspect of my life. My family will continue to grow in grace, in Jesus name

I command my life out of the fear of unknown into the everlasting presence of God all around in Jesus name

I decree, FATHER let Your peace reign in every part of the world and in our hearts, in the mighty name of Jesus

I decree, sickness and diseases are far away from every member of my family. We shall continue to enjoy God’s healing power, in the mighty name of Jesus

I decree, let the love of the Father be seen in all parts of the world and sweep out all hates, in the mighty name of Jesus

I decree, let Your praises fill the earth as this pandemic ends worldwide in the victorious name of Jesus

I decree, this day, let things that will ignite worship and praise fill my heart and my life like never before

Holy spirit continue to be my companion everywhere I go, in Jesus name

I decree concerning this nation the spirit of God will sweep through and there will be revival of souls in Jesus mighty name

I decree whatever I lay my hands upon henceforth, will prosper because the power of God inside of me is working

I decree concerning all leaders in every capacity and people in different workforce, that the power of the Holy spirit will flow through them as they experience salvation in Jesus name

Go ahead and celebrate Jesus for these wonderful declarations!

What A FAITHFUL FATHER!

We return all Glory to our FATHER in heaven.

So the bible is saying that if you use Nigeria as an example, you are the President and the devil is in charge of wards; you are the President, sickness and barrenness are in charge of wards.
You are the most high as long as this earth is concerned and you are confronting the most low; that is why the bible said resist the devil...it didn’t say he will walk away but he will will flee away from you.
If you tell a common counselor that the president is looking for him, first, he will be troubled because the gap between him and the president is very wide.

There is tremendous gap between you and the things confronting you.
Ephesians 1:19-23

John was a very dull boy. His peers called him "Father of fools"

When he was in a Private school he got the following results:

Maths = 2%
English = 5%
Science = 0%
Social sciences = 1%

He was taken to a government school and got the following results;

Maths = 0%
English = 1%
Science = 0%
Social sciences = 0%

His parents were very disappointed but still decided to put him in a Catholic school. The First term John passed and was the first in the class .
Maths = 90%
English = 93%
Science = 95%
Social sciences = 89%

His parents could not believe it. They asked him how he managed to pass and he said;

"When I saw a man nailed on the cross, I knew that these teachers don't joke with students here"
